Gays, fags, queers, trannies, dykes, and pooners have existed from at least the 1850s (possibly even sooner) and have no-doubt had an impact on western society. Is it a good thing? A bad thing? Maybe a bit of both, but the important thing is that it is interesting to me and therefore deserving of its own subforum on this site.
